Meet your Enrolled Agent

My name is Yolanda J Crump, a previous IRS Agent, now  “Tax Advocate” with over 20 years of experience in the IRS; I’ve had a lot of time to learn the ins and outs to avoid tax mishaps. While employed with the IRS, I pursued my Bachelor's in Accounting to discover how money and systems work together to help others. As an IRS Agent, I have worked with CPAs, tax attorneys, and tax analysts to resolve tax issues. During my tenure as  IRS Agent, I discovered that many taxpayers fear the IRS due to a lack of understanding of their rights and responsibilities.

There is a HUGE gap between taxpayers and the IRS.

As a result of my discoveries, I decided to resign from my career as an enforcer and become an advocate. My expertise includes performing field examinations on tax returns, including but not limited to individuals, sole proprietors, corporations, and partnerships. I am passionate about helping people understand tax laws and provide representation in tax matters.

YJCRUMP Tax Firm is the IRS outside the IRS.

What is an Enrolled Agent

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a three-part comprehensive test covering individual and business tax returns, or through the experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accounts (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
