Tax Problem Resolution

Staff members at The YJCRUMP  Firm have extensive training in tax problem resolution.

YJCRUMP EA Firm’s tax resolution services emphasize working with the respective tax authority to minimize cost and productivity disruption when responding to inquiries.  Our targeted goal is to work with tax authorities on a reasonable solution as quickly as possible so that our clients can focus on their businesses and families without the stress of looming tax issues.

Our process is assisting clients in resolving their historical tax problems

Free Consultation

At this meeting, an experienced EA will evaluate the situation and discuss the available options for resolving the matter. This generally takes about an hour; however, we may need additional information to determine a course of action. We provide a fee estimate in your initial consultation meeting.

Retaining The YJCRUMP EA Firm

At the end of the free consultation, clients choose to retain YJCRUMP EA Firm as their authorized tax representative. They then sign an engagement letter (which details the scope of work) and make financial arrangements. Next, we file a Power of Attorney (POA) with the IRS and/or state. This provides the client with immediate relief because from this point on the tax authorities will contact us directly.

IRS/State Tax Compliance

We are experienced in helping clients to become compliant taxpayers, which is generally required for tax resolutions to be negotiated. We assist clients with filing their delinquent tax returns and demonstrating that they remain current with tax payments. For those with incomplete records, we assist with the preparation and filing of back tax returns.

Tax Settlement Negotiation

After gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s situation, we propose a resolution plan to the IRS, or State, that the client can see through to acceptance. Having a high tax relief success rate, we pride ourselves in obtaining the best settlement under the law. Keep in mind, however, that it is rare that a proposal is accepted right away. Through diligence and persistence, our knowledgeable staff will monitor, provide additional information to the IRS as needed, and negotiate your proposed resolution until acceptance is gained. At YJCRUMP Tax Firm, we inform clients of the case’s progress.

Tax Resolution is Achieved

After reviewing the final resolution by the IRS, we meet with the client to explain what must be done to satisfy the terms of the resolution, as well as to avoid future tax problems.

YJCRUMP Tax Firm Offers a Wide Variety of IRS Tax Representation Services

Do you need IRS audit help because your tax returns are being audited? We understand that audits can be scary, and you don’t want to be taken advantage of because you don’t know tax law. YJCRUMP Tax Firm provides IRS audit representation.

What Is the Purpose of an IRS Audit?

The goal of an audit is to find additional revenue for the government. An IRS auditor will likely request documentation to verify your expenses and deductions. The burden is on you (and your tax representative if you have one) to produce the information. If you can’t, you’ll likely owe additional taxes plus any accumulated interest.

You Don’t Have To Handle This Alone.

The IRS and state taxing authorities have the power to assess unexpected tax liabilities, penalties, and interest against you. They also have a wide variety of tools at their disposal to collect from you what they believe you owe. Effective tax representation can help you stand up for your rights and help minimize assessments, giving you peace of mind in an otherwise stressful situation.

Get Tax Audit Representation Help Right Away

Don’t try to navigate the auditing process on your own. The IRS has the upper hand, and it’s easy to make a costly mistake. If you are the subject of an audit, it’s important to seek tax audit representation as soon as possible. An audit representative can inform you of your rights and protect you from potentially having thousands of dollars or more added to your tax bill. Your audit representative will fight for your rights and ensure you are treated fairly.

Tax return

Education:

I not only want to represent you, but I want to educate you to keep you from experiencing unnecessary tax issues as a result of lack of knowledge.  Education helps eradicate mistakes on tax return, thereby giving  people the chance at better understanding of their tax rights and repsonsibilites. This is one of the biggest reasons why individuals and businesses are assessed tax during an audit.

Tax knowledge is a valuable asset to individuals and businesses.  All taxpayers must file taxes every year regardless of current economic conditions. Most people who use tax preparers do so because they lack the ability to prepare their own return. At YJCRUMP Tax Firm, we want our clients to be knowledgeable of their rights and responsibilities.

You are held responsible during an audit. Do be the person saying "I just didn't know!" Take the courses to ensure you are protected and know your rights.
